Let me preface my comments regarding Clopper Mill’s special education program with the following statement. Not only am I the parent of a son with autism but I also have 10yrs experience working in the special education field for another school district. Understanding the federal regs and best practices as it relates to not only my son succeeding academically but also growing socio-emotionally has consistently guided my assessment of Clopper Mill. They have consistently outperformed with just about every expectation that I have. It is truly a family atmosphere of caring & knowledgeable staff members from the Principal, to the administrative staff, to the classroom teachers, to the special ed staff members. They’ve inspired, nurtured, demanded, and facilitated a process whereby I know the foundation for my son’s future is rock solid. I can never say enough great things about the school, the staff, and how they’ve prepared my son for the future.
