School, Staff, and PTA are phenomenal coupled with a challenging curriculum. The student body is very diverse in terms of socioeconomic status and academic levels to ensure a well rounded experience for any student.

Communication between staff regarding students needs to improve. If it wasn’t for principal brown the ratings would be lower.

The staff, curriculum & school atmosphere are incredible as it relates specifically to our child. However, now that almost an entire year has gone by, I would say its a pretty great school for all the students based upon our observations. We love the diverse faculty & student body. The levels of communication: 1) administration to parents, 2) teachers to parents, 3) teachers to students, 4) PTA to parents, 5) facilitators of extra curricular activities are timely & actionable. Our child has really blossomed academically & socially even with a diagnosis of autism. This is a testament to the overall family atmosphere fostered by the Principal, Staff and student body.

Mr. Brown is dedicated to his students and sets an amazing example that, unfortunately, not all of his staff choose to follow. Special Education staff are phenomenal and many teachers are good with students however, some see 504 plans and IEPs as a nuisance & are notably aggravated should a student or case manager advocate for accommodations. Communication between teachers and, sometimes between teachers & counseling or administrative staff could definitely benefit from improving.
